He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, living at 181 Dupre Avenue, Apt. 2 and was a bookkeeper for Nottingham Hauling Co. Survivors include his widow; two brothers, Michael Dinofa of Norfolk and Anthony Dinofa of Tempe, Ariz.; six sisters, Mrs. Pasquale Arcese and Mrs. Joseph Arcese of Portsmouth, Mrs .Joseph Vita, Mrs. Pearl Panella, Mrs. Carmella Carleo and Mrs. Amelia Madison of Norfolk. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. A Rosary service will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held in Holy Trinity Catholic Church Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family has said that expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Heart Fund. The family will be at 408 W. 30th St. **************************************************************************** NORFOLK — The body of John Anthony Dinofa was taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where a funeral service was conducted Tuesday by the Rev. Peter Manzo. Also present in the sanctuary were the Rev. Nicholas J. Habets, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cannon, the Rev. Thomas M. Summers, the Rev. Richard Dollard and the Rev. Vernon Bowers. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Louis Arcese, Nicholas Arcese, John Vita, Frank Panella, Vincent Carleo and Joseph Vita.
