The Virginian Pilot April 5, 1974
William Owen Disharoon, 63, of Hoover Ave., the husband of Mrs. Elsie Rose 
Disharoon, died Thursday.
A native of Norfolk, he was a retired pipefitter of Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
He was a member of South Norfolk Christian Church, South Norfolk Masonic Lodge 
339, and Ionic Royal Arch Chapter 46.
Besides his widow, survivors include three sons, Gary Disharoon, Ronald 
Disharoon, and Keith Disharoon of Chesapeake.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Francis A. Gay Funeral 
Home, South Norfolk. Burial, with Masonic rites, will be in Riverside Memorial 
Park. Officiating will be the Rev. Weaver Futrell.
