Virginian Pilot April 21, 1994

Edith Marie Disharoon, 78, of the 1300 block of W. Norcova Drive, a former 
bookkeeper, died April 19, 1994, in Lafayette Villa.
She was born in Norfolk and had been employed with Cain Electronics. She was a 
member of Park Place United Methodist Church and the Tidewater Business and 
Professional Women's Association.
Survivors include five nieces, Dorothy Collins of Jacksonville Fla., Ellen 
Chappell and Donna Kline, both of Norfolk, Cecilla Jarvis and Kemper Overbaugh, 
both of Virginia Beach; four nephews, Danny Disharoon of Virginia Beach, Joseph 
Disharoon of Tampa, Fla., Herman Disharoon and James Disharoon, both of Norfolk; 
11 great-nephews and great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant 
Hall Chapel, by the Rev. Francis Collins. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
