Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday October 25, 1945
Mrs. Cornelia T. Dixon, 72, widow of the late Charles H. Dixon, Sr., 
formerly of Holt Street, died at 6:35 o'clock last night at the home of her 
son, Charles H. Dixon, Jr., 223 West Seventeenth Street, after a long 
illness. She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was a member of Colonial 
Avenue Methodist Church.
Besides her son, she is survived bya daughter, Mrs. A.B. Pearson, of 
Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Albert Beard, of Alexandria, Va.; five 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Gregory Funeral Home.
