Norfolk - James Dixon of 2546 Jamaica avenue, a retired construction worker, was 
given rites Tuesday at graveside in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale Funeral Home in 
charge.

Mr. Dixon, a native of Scotland Neck, NC, died March 30 in a local hospital.  He 
was the husband of Mrs. Rosa E. Dixon and a son of the late James Dixon and Mrs. 
Aledela Dixon.

Others surviving are three sons, James T. Dixon and Richard Lee Dixon of Norfolk 
and Henry Louis Dixon of Ft. Dix, NJ;  two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Brown and Miss 
Rose Mary Dixon of Norfolk;  a brother, Henry Dixon of Philadelphia;  and two 
sisters, Miss Dora Dixon and Mrs. Louis Dixon of Scotland Neck.
