Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, May 12, 1992 
Myles A. Dixon, 83, of the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road, a retired tailor,
died May 11, 1992, in a hospital.

Mr. Dixon was born in Norfolk. He had retired from Shulman's. He was a member of
Shiloh Baptist Church and was the widower of Hattie M. Dixon.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Mable Swinton of Portsmouth and Margie
Morgan of New York City; and two stepsons, William T. Smith and Lonnie C. Smith,
both of Portsmouth.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Shiloh Baptist Church by the
Rev. John Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will begin at
noon Wednesday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth. The family will be at 318
Wynn St., Portsmouth. Family and friends will assemble at 12:45 p.m. Thursday in
the church.
