Death of E A. Dodd — It is with profound regret that we announce the death of this 
gentleman. He was in the thirty-sixth year of his age, and was generally admired 
by all who knew him for his manly manner and frank and generous disposition. Mr. 
Dodd was long afflicted with consumption, which slowly but sorely wasted his life 
away.

Funeral of E. A. Dodd — The funeral of this gentleman took place yesterday from 
St. Mary’s Church Catholic. A procession of friends and acquaintances escorted the 
remains to the church, where a beautiful and impressive sermon was delivered by 
Rev. Father O’Keefe. The sorrow depicted in the countenances of the large audience 
showed plainly how dear!y he was loved whilst living, and how sincerely his death 
is mourned.
