Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 14, 1912
Mrs. Amelia Louise Dodge, wife of Edward Dodge, died yesterday morning at St. 
Vincent's hospital after an illness of several years in the 42d year of her age.
The deceased was a native of Michigan and a daughter of Joseph and Mrs. Mary 
Rewalt, but had been residing in this city for eleven years, during which time 
she made many friends who will regret her death.
She is survived by six children.  They are: Miss Clara and Charles Dodge and 
Mrs. Edna Shaw, Miss Bertha, Robert and Joseph Dodge, all of this city.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence, 23 Walnut street, Friday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock and Rev. W.T. Green, pastor of Memorial M.E. Church, will 
officiate.  The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
It will be recalled that John F. Dodge, a brother of the bereaved husband, 
passed away last week.
