City Coroner Dr. E. V. Newton was notified, and caused a jury of inquest to be summoned, which returned a verdict that the deceased came to his death by drowning, on or about the 20th inst. The deceased, who was about 45 years of age, was well known in the city. The remains were interred at the expense of the city. Additional Comments: Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, VA.
