Virginian Pilot Wednesday December 20,1899




 The funeral of the venerable Mrs. Henrietta Doland, who passed away at the 
Episcopal Church Home, corner of Bute and Brewer streets, Sunday, at the ripe 
age of 79 years, was held from the Home at 1 o'clock p.m. yesterday. The 
services were conducted by Rev. Dr. C.E. Grammer, of Christ Episcopal Church. 
The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pall-
bearers: Colonel W.W. Old, Colonel L.D. Starke, Messrs. Joseph Culpepper, 
Kensie Johns, C. Whittle Sams and Major A.W. Santos.
