Mrs. Kate C. Donovan, widow of William Donovan, for more than 50 years a well-
known resident of Norfolk, died at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at the residence, 
No. 3 Oxford Apartments, 1204 Colonial avenue. She is survived by three daughters, 
Mrs. Thomas F. Curran, and the Misses Mary and Nellie Donovan; one son, David M. 
Donovan, all of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. John Ford, of New York City, and a 
brother, Martin Cregan, of Chicago. Ill.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 
9 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
