Father Jackson, of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, in the beautiful cathedral interior of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, on Chapel street. The Emerald Beneficial Society, of which the deceased was a member, was present in a body and attended the body to its last resting place, in St. Mary's Cemetery, the following being pallbearers: Messrs. W. H. Hannan, Patrick Hart, J. J. Lawler, M. McKevitt, Michael Cashin, Patrick McGee, Peter Burns and Edward Mahoney. Mr. Donovan, it will be remembered, died Monday morning at his residence, No. 560 East Main street. Father Jackson was called upon in the absence of Fathers Doherty and Frioli from the city.
