William Francis Donovan — Funeral services for Mr. Donovan, deputy city sergeant 
of Norfolk, who died Tuesday, were conducted yesterday at 10 a.m. at the Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Father Thomas Summers, assistant pastor of 
the church. Pallbearers were Frank G., Leo and Joseph Gillerlain, and Thomas, J.  
L., William, Robert and Garland Crump, all nephews of the deceased. Burial was in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
