The many friends of Mr. John H. Donovan will learn with sorrow of his death, 
which occurred at St. Vincent's Hospital Sunday afternoon after a lingering 
illness of six or seven months. The deceased was intimately known and highly 
esteemed in the community. The deceased was in the 48th year of his age and was 
a brother of the late William Donovan, and is survived by two brothers, Messrs. 
Thomas and D.F. Donovan, of this city. His wife preceded him to the grave last 
July. The funeral will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 o'clock 
this morning and will be attended by the Ancient Order of Hibernians and St. 
Patrick's Society of which he was a member.

p.m., JOHN H. DONOVAN, in the 48th year of his age.
Funeral services from St. Mary’s Catholic Church THIS (Tuesday) MORNING, at 10 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
