Virginian-Pilot August 20, 1940
DOOKER, ELLA VIRGINIA - At the residence, 323 West Fourteenth street, Monday 
morning, August 19, 1940, at 10:45 o'clock, ELLA VIRGINIA DOOKER, widow of John A. 
Dooker, in the 75th year of her age. Funeral services will be conducted at the 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, August 21, 1940, at 3:30 o'clock. 
Friends of the family invited to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
