The Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 16, 1937
Andrew Mason Doome, aged 63, husband of the late Mrs. Wortley Wiley Doome, a 
native of Staunton, and a resident of Norfolk for the past 27 years, died at a 
hospital in Baltimore yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, where he had recently 
gone for treatment. Mr. Doome was a retired employe of the Norfolk Navy Yard. He 
is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Brangenberg, of Baltimore, and Mrs. 
Louis Colinsky, of Norfolk; a son, Wilbur Smith, of Norfolk, and two 
grandchildren.
The body will arrive in Norfolk tomorrow morning via Old Bay Line steamer and be 
taken to H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, pending 
funeral arrangements.
