Doran and daughter of the late Joseph and Mrs. Ellen Rigby Bamberger, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at the residence, 2-B Armistead Bridge Court Apartments, 800 West Princess Anne Road, last night at 8:20 o'clock. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Nellie Doran, of Norfolk; and three sisters, Mrs. Louis Rueger, of Richmond; Mrs. James I. Barry, of New York and Mrs. Lowery D. Finley, of Norfolk. The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, pending funeral arrangements. *************************************************************************** Mrs. Nellie Bamberger Doran — Funeral services for Mrs. Doran, widow of Edward J. Doran, who died Thursday, were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church yesterday morning at 10 o’clock, with the Rev. Paul V. Heller officiating. The subject of his address at the conclusion of the mass being, “The Resurrection.” The Rev. P. C. Blackburn was present in the sanctuary. Several selections were played on the organ during the service by J. Harvey Stevens. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were John A. Rueger, Lowery D. Finley, Jr., James D. Finley, 2d, Joseph McMahon, M. Ferrall McMahon, William G. Maupin, Hamilton Plack and J. Fred Dalton.
