Mary Lois Evans Doran, 80, of Colonial Heights, died Nov. 19, 1992, in Southside 
Regional Medical Center.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late George O. and Ella McCarthy 
Evans and was the widow of Joseph S. Doran. Mrs. Doran was a retired civil service 
employee and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and 
Colonial Heights Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael S. and Barbara M. Doran, and 
two grandchildren, Joseph and Jamie Doran, all of Colonial Heights; two brothers 
and sisters-in-law, J. Richard and Mildred Evans of Virginia Beach and Michael J. 
and Dorothy Evans of Portsmouth; and a sister, Virginia Humphreys of Lexington.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Ann's Catholic 
Church, Colonial Heights, with Father William F. Condon officiating. Interment 
will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. The family 
will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 
Colonial Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer 
Society.
