Norfolk Virginian December 27, 1876 

Death of Mrs. Dorney - Mrs. Jane B. Dorney died at her residence on Bank Street, 
on Sunday morning last. This venerable lady was one of our oldest inhabitants and 
had she lived until today would have completed her eightieth year. She was a 
descendant of the old Woodside family and was one of the few links connecting the 
present generation with the Norfolk of old. Her funeral took place from the First 
Presbyterian Church on yesterday.
