The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday April 27, 1946


George Armstrong Dornin, 70, husband of Mrs. Florence Tait Dornin and son of 
the late Thomas Lardner and Mrs. Grace Armstrong Dornin, a native and former 
resident of Norfolk, died April 2 at Youngstown, Ohio. Besides his wife, Mrs. 
Florence Tait Dornin, he is survived by two sons, George Armstrong Dornin, Jr., 
of Youngstown, Ohio, and Robert Tait Dornin, of Baltimore; two daughters, Mrs. 
Frances Stewart, of Sunbury, Pa., and Mrs. William Storm, of Farmwalt, 
Baltimore, Md., four grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. William Scudemore and 
Miss Margaret Dornin, both of New York. Committal services will be held at 
Cedar Grove Cemetery this morning at 11 o’clock with the Rev. Paul Chesney, 
assistant pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
