Virginian Pilot September 28, 1900

Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Dorsey, of Cedar Grove, were bereft of their 8-months-old 
daughter, Marvel Irva, yesterday morning about 9:30 o'clock.  The funeral 
will be conducted from the family residence this afternoon by Rev. W.A. 
Slaymaker, pastor of the Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church, after which 
the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral services of Marvel Irva, the 8-months-old daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. C.H. Dorsey, of Cedar Grove, were conducted from the home of her 
parents yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock.  Rev. W.A. Slaymaker, pastor of 
the Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church, officiated.  The interment was 
made in Magnolia Cemetery.
