Dorsey, 89, of the 1000 block of Cambridge Crescent, died June 2, 2005, in a local hospital. She was a native of Hartford, Conn., and a resident of Norfolk since 1950. Mrs. Dorsey was a retired executive secretary and a Roman Catholic. She was a former pilot at age 16 and was a member of the Ninety-Niners Club. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah C. Ward, of Norfolk, and two sons, Daniel R. Dorsey, of Charlottesville, and James C. Dorsey, and wife, Mary, of Alexandria; her brother, Vincent Yeskett, of Bradenton, Fla.; and her grandson, John Michael Ward, of Plano, Texas. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Our Lady of Victory Chapel at NOB. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk.
