NORFOLK - Florence A. Dorsey, 89, of the 1000 block of Cambridge Crescent, died 
June 2, 2005, in a local hospital.  She was a native of Hartford, Conn., and a 
resident of Norfolk since 1950.

Mrs. Dorsey was a retired executive secretary and a Roman Catholic.  She was a 
former pilot at age 16 and was a member of the Ninety-Niners Club.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah C. Ward, of Norfolk, and two sons, Daniel 
R. Dorsey, of Charlottesville, and James C. Dorsey, and wife, Mary, of Alexandria; 
her brother, Vincent Yeskett, of Bradenton, Fla.; and her grandson, John Michael 
Ward, of Plano, Texas.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Our Lady of Victory Chapel at NOB.  
Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk.  Memorial donations may 
be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
