Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, April 12, 1994 
Beatrice Hassell Doswell of the 6900 block of Pugh St., a retired clerk, died
April 9, 1994, at her residence.

Mrs. Doswell was a native of Norfolk and was the widow of William M. Doswell.
She was retired from the Norfolk Naval Supply Center after 30 years. She was a a
member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Norfolk and the Brambleton Senior
Circle.

Survivors include two aunts, Lena Hassell Whitley and Connie Mann Easter, both
of Norfolk; nephews, Joseph Hassell of Norfolk, Cecil Hassell of Maryland and
Ernest Harrison of Key West, Fla. She is also survived by several cousins and
among them is Lloyd C. Mann.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church,
Norfolk, by the Rev. Keith Cooke. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing
will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be
placed in church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The family will be at her residence.
