The Virginian Pilot Sunday September 30, 1962
Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson Doughty, widow of Harry C. Doughty Sr., died Saturday 
at 9:45 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital.
She lived with her daughter, Mrs. Robert F. Duval, 118 Magnolia Ave.
Born in Norfolk County, she was a lifelong resident of this area.  She was a 
daughter of John J. and Mrs. Mary Sanderson Wilson.
She was a member of Larchmont Methodist Church, Norfolk College Alumnae 
Association, National Society of Daughters of American Revolution, Pickett-
Buchanan Chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy and Art and Travel 
Club.
Besides her daughter, surviving are a son, Harry C. Doughty Jr. of 
Charleston, W.Va.; a sister, Mrs. A.O. Baum of Norfolk; four grandchildren 
and a great-granddaughter.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.
