PRINCESS ANNE — Thomas W. Doughty, 88, husband of Mrs. Evelyn White Doughty, died 
Thursday at 3:15 a.m. in his home in Princess Anne County. 
A lifelong resident of Princess Anne, he was a son of Joseph B. and Mrs. Elizabeth 
Doughty.
A retired farmer, he was the oldest member of Oaklette Methodist Church.
Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Hilderbrant of 
Crestline, Calif.; a brother, J. B. Doughty of Princess Anne County; and five 
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, 
Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. John Teter of Oaklette Methodist Church. Burial 
will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
