She was the daughter of the late Joseph Bain and Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Williams Doughty. She was a native of Norfolk County and had resided in Princess Anne County for 60 years. Miss Doughty was a charter member of Oaklette Methodist Church. She is survived by four brothers, L.H. Doughty, of Norfolk County; J.T. Doughty, of Princess Anne County; J.B. Doughty, of Norfolk County, and T.W. Doughty, of Princess Anne County, and several nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover avenue, to the Oaklette Methodist Church, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. Millard Rawls, pastor of the church; the Rev. E.G. Hill, pastor of Laurel Street Methodist Church, Richmond, and the Rev. J.S. Maxey, pastor of the Franklin Methodist Church, Franklin, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
