Douglass, who died at St. Vincent's Hospital Friday night from fatal injuries received by being thrown from a horse on Park avenue, Brambleton ward, will be conducted from Memorial M.E. Church this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. C.L. Bane will be the officiating minister and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. It was understood yesterday that the deceased was to have been married to a well known young lady of this section in October, making his untimely end all the more sad. Mr. Douglass was well known in Berkley ward, where he had resided for the past fifteen years and was a native of Norfolk County. He was 30 years old and is survived by a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George B. Douglass and a sister, Miss Dessie Douglass, 49 Clifton Street. He was an esteemed member of Lee Lodge, 48, K. of P., Berkley Lodge, 278, B.P.O. Elks and Berkley Arie, 795, F.O. Eagles, which organizations will attend the obsequies in a body today.
