Maurice T. Doumar, 65, passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 1998.

Mr. Doumar was born in Norfolk and was the son of the late Toufic and Adele 
Doumar. Mr. Doumar was a successful businessman and merchant for more than 45 
years.

Survivors include his sister, Claire D. Berny, and his two nieces, Claire D. Berny 
and Adele M. Berny, all of Virginia Beach.

A private graveside service was held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. Memorial 
donations may be made to Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia 
Beach, Va. 23451, or Virginia Beach S.P.C.A., 3040 Holland Road, Virginia Beach, 
Va. 23456. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling 
arrangements.
