NORFOLK — Mrs. Adele Doummar, wife of Toufic Doummar and daughter of the late 
Joseph and Mrs. Hend Meshaka Doumar, died Saturday at 2:30 a.m. in a Norfolk 
hospital.
Mrs. Doummar was a native of Syria and had been a resident of Norfolk for many 
years, lately at 2700 Granby St.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Claire D. Berny of 
Boston, Mass., three sons, Habib Doummar of Virginia Beach, Henry Doummar of West 
Palm Beach, Fla., and Maurice Doummar of Norfolk, and five grandchildren.
A Rosary service will be held at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 7:30 
p.m. A funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
