Virginian-Pilot  July 10, 1900
The obsequies of Mrs. Ann Dowd, who passed away at the home of her brother-in-law, 
Mr. Felix Oakes, No. 423 Princess Anne avenue, Saturday, were held from the 
residence at 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. 
Father O’Hara, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The remains were 
laid to rest in St. Mary's cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: Martin 
Cashin, John Coleman, Patrick Hart, D. F. Donovan, M. McKevitt and Thos. 
Fitzgibbons.
