He made his home at 519 River Avenue. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Wassel, of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Davis, of Philadelphia, Pa. and one brother, William Frank Downey, of Baltimore Md. Funeral services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ************************************************************************* Stanley Randolph Downey — Funeral services for Mr. Downey, who died Monday, were conducted at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments yesterday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Edward W. Johnston, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were John O’Rourke, Charles Webber, Elmer Wheeler, James Wheeler, J. A. Atkinson and Ben Brenner.
