Virginian-Pilot April 26, 1961
DOWNEY, DAISY M.- At a Norfolk hospital, Monday morning, April 24, 1961, at 10:10 
o'clock, DAISY M. DOWNEY, widow of William O. Downey and daughter of the late 
Thomas E. and Mrs. Roxanna Myzelle Bell, in the 81st year of her age. Funeral 
services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, WEDNESDAY 
AFTERNOON, April 26, 1961, at 2 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to the Cancer 
Society in lieu of flowers. The family will be at 5351 Studeley Ave.
