DOWNING - In this city, Wednesday, February 2, 1881, at 12 M., EDMUND B. DOWNING, 
in the 81st year of his age.
His funeral will take place TODAY at 3 o’clock.

The funeral of the late Edmund B. Downing took place yesterday at 3 o'clock
P. M., from St. Mary’s Church. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father 
McKeefry, and were numerously attended by friends and relatives of the deceased. 
The pallbearers were Edward Barry, Wm. P. Hennelly, John Doran,
John Lawler, Thomas H. Donovan and John T. Casey. May he rest in peace.
