DOWNING — On Saturday, August 22, 1908, at 9:30 o’clock a.m., LILLIE, wife of 
Cornelius Downing, in the 27th year of her  age.
Funeral services from Sacred Heart Catholic Church TOMORROW (Monday) AFTERNOON at 
3:30 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

MRS. LILLIE DOWNING
The funeral of Mrs. Lillie Downing took place yesterday afternoon from the Sacred 
Heart church and was conducted by Rev. Father W. A. O’Hara.
The attendance was large. The interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery.
The following were the pall-bearers: John W. Fogarty, D. Enright, T. Henchy, L. 
Wheeler, J. Newcomb and J. Dutton.
