Norfolk Virginian June 12, 1883
DOWNS - In Huntersville, June 11, 1883, at 3:30 o'clock a.m., Mrs. ELIZABETH 
DOWNS, aged 58 years.
Her funeral will take place at the residence of her son-in-law, J. H. Redford, 
THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON at 3:30 o'clock.
She was a consistent member of the Catholic Church of this city; she was a kind 
and affectionate mother, doing good deeds always. Requiescat in pace.
