DOWNS, Harry Garfield, 76, of Norge, died at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 1957, in 
Kecoughtan Veterans Administration Hospital, Hampton. Survived by wife, two 
stepdaughters, one stepson, seven step-grandchildren, one niece. Graveside 
services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 1957, in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, 
with the Rev. Willis Thompson, pastor of Hilton Presbyterian Church, officiating. 
(Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge.)
