Belvedere Road, the widow of Samuel Dowtin, died Sunday at 4:20 a.m. in a hospital. A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a daughter of John B. and Mrs. Georgette Munden Collins. She was retired in 1960 as a registered nurse after more than 40 years of private duty and hospital nursing. Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Charleva C. Clemmer of Hampton and Mrs. Grace Crichton Kelley of Norfolk; a great-nephew, Philip C. Clemmer of Honolulu, Hawaii; and two great-nieces, Misses Gail C. Kelley and Lynn K. Kelley of Norfolk. The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive, to Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral service Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. William L. Wilson of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 9. They ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.
