The Virginian Pilot Thursday September 21, 1961
Mrs. Marietta Witcher Doyle, 32, of 1806 Greenleaf Drive, died in her home 
Sunday after a short illness.
She was a daughter of Archie Askew and Mrs. Laura Johnson and was born in 
Norfolk.
Besides her parents, surviving are her widower, Curtis Doyle; one son, Curtis 
Witcher; and one daughter, Freda Ann Doyle, all of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Warren's Mortuary.
A funeral service will be held in Mother Church of God in Christ Saturday at 1 
p.m. by Bishop D. Lawrence Williams, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary 
Cemetery.
