Norfolk - Mrs. Sadie W. Doyle of 1006 Wolcott avenue received final rites 
Wednesday at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.  She died Sept. 8.

The Rev. John R. Gray officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge.

A member and deaconess at Mt. Gilead, Mrs. Doyle was a native of Halifax 
County, NC.

Her survivors include her husband, Wiley H. Doyle;  three sons, Curtis and 
Albert Lee Doyle of Norfolk and John J. Doyle of Philadelphia;  a sister, Miss 
Lenora Whittaker of Scotland Neck, NC;  three brothers, Henry, Jesse and 
Thurston Whittaker of Norfolk;  and three grandchildren.
