NORFOLK - Bennie Doyle, of the 900 block of Oaklawn Ave., died October 10, 1989.

Mr. Doyle, a native of Emporia, had retired from Frank Thomas Co. after 55 
years. He was the widower of Ellen Doyle and a member of Greater Metropolitan 
A.M.E.Z. Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Elsie D. Kindred of Virginia Beach; a brother, 
Jesse Mays of Petersburg; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Riddick Funeral Service by the 
Rev. E.H. Whitley. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 
8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at 12:45 
p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Norfolk Community Hospital.
