NORFOLK - Ellen Johnson Doyle of the 900 block of Kenton Avenue died August 13, 
1988, in a hospital.

Mrs. Doyle, a native of Edenton, N.C., was a member of Greater Metropolitan 
A.M.E.Z. Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bennie Doyle; a daughter, Elsie D. Kindred of 
Virginia Beach; a sister, Mable Fitzgerald of New York; two grandchildren; and 
three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Riddick Funeral Home by the 
Rev. E.H. Witley. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the 
family at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home before the service.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lake Taylor Nursing Home.
