Virginian Pilot February 8, 1984

Herbert Atwood Dozier, 57, of 4746 Poolside Road, a native of Norfolk, died 
Monday in a hospital.
Dozier had retired from Virginia National Bank as a recovery manager. He was a 
former member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Norfolk. He had 
served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Davis Dozier, a daughter, Marion Flickinger of 
Virginia Beach; a son, Fred E. Davis of Reston; his father, Amos C. Dozier of 
Virginia Beach and four grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Elwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. William Gregory. Cox Funeral Home is in charge.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
