Virginian Pilot January 5, 1978

Mrs. Goldie Atwood Dozier, 87, of 4746 Pool Side Road, the wife of Amos C. Dozier 
and a Norfolk native, died Wednesday in a hospital.
She was a lifelong Norfolk resident.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret De Lipski of Oakland, Calif.; a 
son, Herbert A. Dozier of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. 
David Howell. Cox Funeral Home, Norfolk, has charge. The family has requested that 
flowers be omitted.
