Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch October 27, 1911
Mr. James W. Dozier, aged 77 years, a life-long resident of Norfolk, died suddenly 
at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. W. E. Brown, at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. D. P. Reid and Mrs. W. E. Brown, 
and one son, A. S. Dozier, all residents of this city.
The funeral will take place from the residence at 11 a.m. Saturday.
