Virginian-Pilot August 29, 1920
Mrs. Mary Jane Dozier, 77, died at the residence of her son, Wiley W. Dozier, 808 
Windsor avenue, Saturday afternoon at 5:25 o'clock. She is survived by three sons, 
Edmond W., Telly W. and Wiley W. Dozier. She had been a resident for the past 24 
years. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Sunday afternoon at 
3:30 o'clock, with Rev. R. J. Dogan, of Burrows Memorial Baptist church, 
officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
