Virginian-Pilot September 15, 1961
NORFOLK — Robert Lassiter Dozier, 38, husband of Mrs. Helen B. Dozier and son of 
Roy 0. and Mrs. Mary Lassiter Dozier, died Thursday at 12:20 a.m. in a Norfolk 
hospital. Mr. Dozier, sales manager for Norfolk Motor Co. was a lifelong resident 
of Norfolk, lately at 8316 Norristown Drive. Besides his widow and parents, he is 
survived by one son, Roy L. Dozier Jr.; a daughter, Sandra Lee Dozier; and a 
brother, William L. Dozier, all of Norfolk. A funeral service will be held in H. 
D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 2 p.m. by the Rev. J R. Hollandsworth, 
pastor of Calvin Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
