Mrs. Dozier was born in Norfolk and retired from Norfolk Naval Base. She was a member of St. Johns AME Church, Elks Temple 1A, United Order of Tents, and Phyllis Wheatley and the Courts of Calanthe. She was the widow of Phillip Dozier. Survivors include three daughters, Doris W. Epps of Portsmouth, Mamie W. Williams of Norfolk and Lottie W. Medley of Washington; two sons, George W.J. Wyatt Jr. and Clarence A. Wyatt, both of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in St. Johns AME Church by the Rev. I.W. Knight. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. A wake service will be at 6 p.m. Monday. Friends may join the family at the residence and at 3829 Wedgefield Ave. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
