Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, November 5, 1993 
Mildred Dozier of the 800 block of A Ave., a sandwich maker, died Nov. 2, 1993,
in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Dozier was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Fletcher Dozier. She was a
member of Queen Street Baptist Church in Norfolk and was a Sunday School teacher
and a member of the Docas Club.

Survivors include two sisters, Bessie Bowe McConnell of Norfolk and Lena
Heidelberg of Providence, R.I.; one brother, Herbert King of Odenton, Md.; and a
host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Queen Street Baptist Church by
the Rev. Peter Wherry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will
assemble at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
