Born in Hyattsville, Md., she was retired as a civil service payroll clerk at the Naval Supply Center after 24 1/2 years. She was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist Church, the Margaret Tyrrell Circle and Nillie Church Sunday School Class. Survivors include three nieces, Edith Mae Fentress of Virginia Beach, Doris Virginia Thomas and Marie Hershman, both of Norfolk; several great-nieces and - nephews; and great-great-nieces and -nephews. A graveside service will be at noon Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Morris Bennett. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from noon to 2 p.m. Friday. Her last words to her ``sister'' were ``to tell everyone she loved them.'' Memorial donations may be made to Miles Memorial United Methodist Church.
