A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late Moses J. and Mrs. Nannie R.Dozier. He was a waiter at Armed Forces Staff College, a member of Grace Episcopal Church, and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are two brothers, J. Fletcher Dozier of Norfolk and Oliver H. Dozier of Randolph, MA. Services were held in Grace Episcopal Church by the Rev. Joseph Green. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
